What happens when you give visionaries the tools, the confidence, and the support they need to build their dreams?
At 2Gether-International, we have seen the answer, and it is nothing short of extraordinary.
This year, through our Accessible Ecosystem initiative in partnership with IDB Lab, we brought our mission to Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities and innovators creating inclusive, tech-driven solutions.
We designed two programs to meet founders where they are: Venture Labs, a 4-week incubator, helps early-stage entrepreneurs move from idea to validation. Accelerator, a 10-week program, helps founders develop scalable businesses to grow and pitch for funding.
These founders show every day that inclusion and innovation go hand in hand. The first cycle of Venture Labs made that crystal clear.
During our final online session, screens filled with waving hands in sign-language applause as we celebrated Hugo Farfán and CaféLSA, Argentina’s first inclusive café created and run by Deaf entrepreneurs. Every order is taken in Argentine Sign Language, turning a simple coffee break into a cultural bridge, opening skilled jobs for Deaf professionals, and proving that disability can brew powerful innovation.
From the moment applications opened, we were overwhelmed by the creativity and determination of founders from across Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and beyond. These entrepreneurs dared to imagine a region where disability is no longer seen as a limitation, but as a catalyst for innovation and impact. Their ventures are dismantling barriers, transforming lives, and proving what is possible when people with disabilities lead the way.
Take Alberto Cohen Sterental, who is redefining independence for people with visual disabilities through Escuela Blynk, making learning how to use assistive technologies more accessible. Or Verónica Martínez and Valeria Rodríguez Fontenla, whose platform Sí Voy is transforming how accessible tourism is understood and experienced. Their work goes beyond travel; they are developing digital tools, offering inclusive consulting services, and supporting public and private organizations to become more accessible in communication, infrastructure and experience design. Some founders tackled deeply personal, often overlooked needs, like Fernanda Arenas of Pura Vida, who created the Full Life chair so people with limited mobility can experience intimacy with dignity. Others envisioned systemic solutions, like Keila Barral Masri with CROMODATA, using anonymized health data to make healthcare more sustainable, and Diana Gabriela Delgadillo Ruelas, who built Chair-out, a device that transforms a manual wheelchair into an electric one in seconds.
Innovation also took root in remote corners of the region. Esteban Rojas Muñoz and Humanos 3D are bringing affordable, 3D-printed prosthetics to underserved communities in Colombia. Tincadia fosters inclusion for people with hearing and other disabilities by connecting sectors and eliminating barriers. And in Querétaro, Mexico, Ana Yolanda López and S. Gustavo Montes B of Pan Q Ayuda not only employ people with disabilities in their bakery but also create innovative products like a cricket-based energy truffle. These are just some of the extraordinary founders shaping the Accessible Ecosystem. There are many more stories waiting to be told, each one proving that when inclusion and innovation come together, everyone wins.
These founders show why we do what we do.
Since launching Accessible Ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean, we have been helping dozens of founders validate ideas, refine business models, meet investors, and build stronger, more inclusive businesses. Together, we are building a movement that transforms disability into a competitive advantage.
We also recently launched an Apprenticeship Program with Google.org, placing over 35 professionals with disabilities in leadership roles in tech across the region.
By the end of 2025, our goal is to support over 200 founders, laying the foundation to reach 600 by 2027.
We believe the future of innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean is inclusive — and it is already here.
To every founder who trusted us with their dream, to every mentor who shared their wisdom, and to every partner, especially IDB Lab, who opened doors: thank you.
If you are ready to join us, whether as a founder, mentor, investor, or ally, we welcome you.
"Together, we rise. Together, we prove that disability is not a liability but a market advantage."
