Understanding Entrepreneurship & Disability

Join us in August to meet other entrepreneurs with disabilities in the area, get inspired, and learn stuff (like how to find product market fit)!

We will briefly examine the state of entrepreneurship and disability across the nation using research from the Chicagoland Entrepreneurship Education for People with Disabilities (CEED). We will also have a selection of entrepreneurs with disabilities sharing their stories and answering any questions you may have about the entrepreneurial journey.

AUGUST'S DISCUSSION TOPIC: Understanding Entrepreneurship & Disability

This month, we’ll swap inspired ideas around questions like “What makes an entrepreneur?” and “How can I begin exploring entrepreneurship?”

Kate Caldwell, Post Doctoral Fellow, Chicagloand Entrepreneurship Education for People with Disabilities
Maria Rose Belding, Co-founder & CEO, MEANS Database
Sara Minkara, Founder & President, Empowerment Through Integration

Think you’ve got insight to share? Find employment to be a painful process? Join us to brainstorm what makes for entrepreneurial success!

This initiative is built on the premise that we’re stronger together than we are on our own.
